Inspired by Waxing Gibbous by Jeannine Mosely, I began repurposing fruit crates from the school cafeteria for polyhedral sculptures of my own. In my attempts, I discovered I could construct a sculpture corresponding to any Archimedean solid in which four faces meet at a vertex. There are only five of this kind:
